Changing Direction of Fire and have Wind Direction Change   (Size: 147.6 KB)

This tutorial will show you how you can now change DOF and have your Wind Direction change. This setting can be found in all 5700s with firmware version 1.41 (or higher).

You will need to update your Kestrel firmware version to 1.35 (or higher) in order to use the HUD. You can update your Kestrel firmware through the Kestrel LiNK Ballistics for Android or iOS apps

This program only runs on Windows platforms. For 5700 units, it is required to use our USB connection cable to use this program

Applied Ballistics Profile Loader - Version 083   (Size: 6.4 MB)

This program is used to transfer gun profiles to and from a Kestrel ballistics unit and Windows computer. 4500 Ballistic models can use either Bluetooth or the PC Interface cradle but must have fw version 4.93. 5700 models must use the USB Transfer cable to connect. Instructions included in zip file.

Applied Ballistics is now adding personal gun profiles to their bullet library. When choosing a profile, select the standard name of the profile without parentheses...if it the profile has a (name/characters) after it, it is someone's personal profile. For instance pick Berger Target Hybrid not Berger Target Hybrid(BW1402S)
